My name is Jonathan Salvador, though most people know me simply as Sav.
With creative roots from Hawaiʻi, culture, community, and aloha shape every story I tell and every connection I make. Although I recently relocated to San Diego, California, those values continue to guide both my work and the way I approach storytelling.
Over the past 5+ years, I’ve built professional experience in photography, videography, editing, and digital storytelling while working with organizations and events including ESPN Honolulu, the NCAA, Big West Conference, Mountain West Conference, the Los Angeles Clippers, and the Golden State Warriors.
I’ve had the opportunity to cover athletes and teams across different sports, levels, ages, and communities. From youth and high school athletics to collegiate and professional competition. No matter the stage, my passion remains the same: capturing the dedication, emotion, intensity, and love of the game.
For me, sports are more than highlights and final scores. They’re about people, stories, energy, relationships, and moments that connect communities together. My goal is to create visuals that not only document those moments, but make people feel them.
